Je suis une maman de trois enfants et face aux défis, Samuel et son équipe m'ont tendu la main. Leur soutien ne s'est pas limité à l'assistance ; il a allumé une flamme en moi, me donnant l'envie de rendre la bonté que j'avais reçue. C'est ainsi que j'ai décidé de devenir bénévole moi aussi, afin de partager la même gentillesse qui m'avait aidée. Bien que je vive maintenant un peu plus loin, l'appel de Monad Charity reste puissant et j'attends avec impatience mon retour. J'ai également encouragé mes nièces à rejoindre l'équipe. Les voir s'épanouir en tant que bénévoles dévouées, sous la direction de Samuel et Michele, remplit mon cœur de joie. Grâce à leur engagement, elles contribuent à la communauté et bénéficient d'opportunités d'autonomisation dans leur éducation et leur carrière. Monad Charity has been a life-changing journey for me since 2021. As a volunteer, I’ve had numerous transformative experiences. I’ve become more responsible and mature, which has empowered me to make challenging decisions. The members and fellow volunteers at Monad have provided me with invaluable support, particularly in the field of education. Thanks to their assistance, I successfully obtained my SC with 5 credits. The workshops they organized were instrumental in kickstarting my career at the Dinarobin Beachcomber Golf Resort and Spa. Enrolling in childcare courses signifies my commitment to growth. This endeavor extends beyond the immediate – I’ve gained insights into administration and deepened my on-field involvement. I’ve volunteered with Monad Charity for over a year. It’s been an eye-opening journey, offering a break from university pressures to follow my passion. Working with the children at ‘Residence Anoska’ was a profound experience, revealing how we often overlook what others cherish. A child’s excitement over a simple treat like ‘mine apollo’ was touching. It’s painful to witness kids walking barefoot on rough ground, vulnerable to harm. Small donations mean the world to them, countering prejudice and isolation. Volunteering isn’t easy, especially emotionally, but the fulfillment of helping others is immeasurable. Let’s provide these children the support they deserve for a brighter future through selfless volunteerism, breaking barriers and prejudices.
